Martha's Story
After graduation, I entered the convent with the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady in Baton Rouge, LA. I became a Registered Nurse in 1973; graduated from USL with a BSBA in Management in 1980, then graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a MSA (Master of Science in Administration) in 1981. te. In 1988 I co-founded a new mission in Haiti, serving there until 1994, then served on the leadership team of the Congregation in Paris, France until 1999.
In 2007 I celebrated 40 years in convent, praise the Lord!!
Since 2000 I have been living in Baton Rouge. In 2004 I became the U.S. Coordinator for our Haiti Mission which requires my traveling frequently here in the US and to Haiti.
