Martha's Story
Life
I am married and the mother of three children, two of whom were married within five months of each other in 2004! Christy is married with one son named Julian who was born Nov. 28, 2006. She is teaching 8th grade English and History in San Diego where I get to visit every chance I can. Our son, Thomas, is married and graduated from ASU in May, 2005. He is a 1st Lt. and a tank commander in the Army and stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, and will probably be going to Iraq next July. The third, Carlo, is now living with us and going to GCC. He is majoring in Recreation and Tourism at ASU. I retired from teaching at our old high school district after 30 years in May, 2003, then I taught at...Expand for more
ASU at the west campus for the next four years. I am also very involved in politics and recently served as the District 4 Chair for the Democratic Party and was an elected delegate for John Kerry. I'm currently involved in a group called Blue Star Moms to support my Army son who is a tank commander and currently serving in Iraq. My husband, Charles, is an administrative law judge for DES. Together we love to go to Prescott, travel, play tennis and watch movies! I would love to hear from any of my classmates. It would be great to hear what you are up to!
