Martha's Story
Hi All. Most of you will remember me as Marti...not Martha. My best friend from High School was Joe Telgenhof - he's the one who encouraged me to check out this website again.
Anyhow, I live near Seattle, WA now...I've been up here since 1994. I am definately planning on moving to a warmer place in the next few years. I miss California and the friends and family still living there.
I've been hitched twice and am not currently married but am in love with the guy in the photo...three's a charm right? (ha-ha). I had no kids...but somehow I have them around me often with my volunteering (Big Sisters).
I have had various careers along the way......Expand for more
computer consultant, bookkeeping, office management, videoconference coordinator and a few others. But my passion has always been event/meeting planning...from weddings, parties to huge conferences. I work as a professional event planner for a healthcare system in the Pacific Northwest. Fun job - great company - and well in this ecomony...who should ever complain about having any job, eh?
I haven't seen too many of my classmates very often...only once in a while when I visit CA and can track them down. Looking forward to attending the 30th reunion...YIKES that is not too far away. I don't feel old but the numbers add up. :)
