Martha's Story
I married in 1978 and lived in Jesup for a year after that. My husband was in the military we from there he was assigned to Germany, where we lived for 3 years. My oldest son, Randy, Jr. was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Beautiful countryside, and I actually visited some of those things we studied about in our history classes. , I am not married. I divorced some ten years ago but life is very good and I am content. My youngest son, Michael, was born in Biloxi, MS and is now 19. He's in his second year of college. Hattiesburg is home of the Southern Miss Eagles and really not a bad place to live. I visit Jesup as often as I can as I still have family there. I work for a commercial painting contractor as the bookkeeper. Life is good and I have been very blessed.
