More about Martha:"I was born in Tallassee, Alabama almost 67 years ago. I will reach 68 on Sunday, March 7. I am proud of my age and thankful that God has allowed me to live this long. I pray that He will let me live long enough to see my grandchildren get through college or in the case of my grandson, Dusty, learn how to take care of himself and live a happy life. 65 who also went to Minor graduated in 1962. He lived in Adamsville when we married and I lived in Forestdale. We eventually moved to Adamsville and lived in Longview Estates for quite some time. I gave birth to a son, Barton Clayburn Terry and a daughter, Michelle Denise Terry (Barrett). Both of them graduated from Minor High
School. We also adopted a son, Joseph Wayne Cates, and have watched him grow into a fine, responsible young man. I have two grandchildren by our daughter, Michelle. The oldest is Dustin Michael Cole (Dusty) and the youngest is Kaleigh Jordan Cole (Kaleigh or KayKay as we often call her). Joey is now engaged to Amy Anderson and they plan to marry in August of this year. I attend Westwood Baptist Church with my husband Jerry.".
