Martha's Story
Many of you knew that I married Mike Kellicut about 1 year after school. We moved to Houston, TX., stayed there for awhile, then we went into the Army. It lasted about 4 years... We divorced, and I went home to Vicksburg.
I met and hung with John Ewell for about a year. He was a great friend and love to Zane and I. John taught me the true love for being on a Harley, not to mention, he bought me my first Harley. He and I moved on and it was shortly after that I met Danny Odom ( A St. Al grad 1976).
Four years after we met, we married and it was the beginning of an honest, loving and loyal relationship. I have 2 children, Zane and Karley. I also have 2 step children, Dana, Danny Curtis and 1 adopted daughter, Hollie.
One of the best things that has happened to me has been Big Danny and all the children that have passed through our lives. I have had a few foster children that have left memories that will last forever (Some good, some bad)! I have just "taken in" many more kid over the years, for short periods. I am known as "Meme" and Danny is "D" to quite alot of the children. We have 4 grandchildren by my s...Expand for more
tep kids and 1 by adopted daughter, Hollie.
I created a candle line that was picked up by several of the casino gift shops in Vicksburg and other states. I also attended Mississippi College. Although I am now retired and spend most of my winter free time "diggin up bones". When summer comes I hit different rivers canoeing and camping.
I love to be in the wind and on the open roads, Harley Davidson, best bike man created!! Another thanks to my friend John Ewell.
I have the most amazing husband! Most people wouldn't want to be around their husband 24/7, but I lucked up! Danny became disabled after falling from a tower at the chemical plant and breaking his back. He became the stay at home father and I worked! I retired when our daughter was in 4th grade. We homeschooled our youngest 2 children and several of the neighborhood children.
Well, that's (worst and best of everything) that has happened since I saw all ya'll last. Hope to hear from all my lost but not forgotten friends. Mardi
