Martha's Story
After high school I received my BS from Towson State. First teaching job in Wicomico County, came home to get married and had my first child. Taught part time at a catholic school in Baltimore County while our children were small. As younger child entered first grade I began teaching in Baltimore County. Retired after 37 years of teaching. Chorus of Overlea and Perry Hall. The group performs monthly at senior living facilities throughout Baltimore County and City. We are always looking for new members. I also hold weekly sing alongs for the residents at one of the Brightview facilities in Baltimore. I enjoy babysitting my 2 grandchildren one day a week. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, quilting, reading and have reupholstered a chair and am getting ready to tackle a sofa.
