Life
My Spouse
Forty-seven ago, I moved to Indianapolis to begin working at Eli Lilly and Company and met my husband (Mike) through a mutual friend. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in March, 2013. We both enjoy cruising vacations and have been cruising since 1995.
My Pets
We had a female miniature schnauzer (Misty) for 14 wonderful years and a feisty male miniature schnauzer (Dusty) for 16 years. We now have a cuddly 3-year-old miniature schnauzer named Bella. We also have four "grand doggies"--Snickers and Crystal, who are very intelligent and loving female miniature schnauzers; Hunter, a beautiful and energetic chocolate lab, and Sadie Jo, a lively and loving female Brittany Spaniel.
Our Kids
Our son, Brent, is 40 years old and after graduating from Purdue University, he became an aviation technician at Eli Lilly and Company's corporate hanger. He married a wonderful young lady, Anne, on November 2...Expand for more
, 2002. Our beautiful granddaughter, Haley Anne, was born on Christmas day, 2006.
Our daughter, Rebecca, is 39 and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in communications. She has been an officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department since 1999.
College
I attended Ball State University from 1964-66 and received an associate degree in business.
Workplace
I began my career with Eli Lilly and Company as a secretary in 1966. I retired from my executive assistant position at Lilly in 2001. In 2002, after completing course work, ship inspections, and required cruise experiences, I was awarded cruise counselor accreditation from the Cruise Line International Association. Mike and I share ownership of Indy Cruise Central, Inc., our home-based cruise travel agency. We love being associated with the travel industry and continue to enjoy traveling all over the world often with groups of our clients.
