Martha's Story
I married in 1968 and moved to Youngstown, Ohio. I taught Social Studies in Youngstown for 3 years and then "retired". I worked in the community as a volunteer for many years particularly in the arts. Served as President of the Board for the Ballet and the Arts Council. Served on several State and National Boards, as well.
We had two children, Mary (36) and David (35). Neither still lives in Youngs...Expand for more

For the last 12 years I have worked as the Director of Curriculum and School Improvement for the county schools and plan to continue doing that for several more years.
In 2015 I retired as Director of Curriculum and currently (Sept. 2022, ) I am acting as the Coordinator of Gifted Programs for several school districts in NE Ohio, and supervising student teachers for Kent State University.
