Martin's Story
Graduated Haverford in '71, where I majored in English, played football & lacrosse and met my wife, Elaine (Bryn Mawr '72). After 17 months of alternative service (remember the draft?), mopping floors in a psychiatric hospital, got married and took off for CA for law school. Stanford JD in '75. nd then went to Wall Street ('87 - '93). Back to DC in govt. for 1st Clinton Administration; then finance again in Boston & NYC. Retired in '05 (good timing!). Accumulated 3 kids, now all married and launched around the globe. Elaine teaches at Harvard, we split our time between Manhattan apartment and Cape Cod house, and I do a little of this and a little of that.
