Martin's Story

After high school, I spent 4 years in the USAF, got married, then attended Utah State University. I taught middle school for 7 years before I moved into the university scene, landing here in Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin. Then to Utah State U. again, then Bemidji State U. in Minnesota, Cal State Montery Bay in California, and to the U. of Wisconsin again. Now I am in Oklahoma at Northeastern State U. It's been a lot of moving, but it was all career related and has been interesting. Who knows, there may be one or two more moves left before I'm done. I thin...Expand for more
k we will all be working until we are at least 70 anyway, so may as well do something interesting every year you have to work. I have 4 children, 3 of them married. Three live in Wisconsin, 1 in Idaho and 1 in Arizona. We have 6 grandchildren. How did I get that old? I really don't feel old enough to have 6 grandchildren! They are fun to play with and then return to their rightful owners. Trips to N.C. happen about two times a year. My dad still lives there and two brothers and a sister. My other sister lives in Florida. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
