Martin's Story
i'm still in the welding business, for 33 years now and still in el centro cal., at the same address. i don't have a shop or employees anymore, and now do freelance contract work, where i get to keep the profit, there are less headaches, more fun, and more enjoyable, when i work for farmers now building equipment they provide me with their workers when i need help.
i sold my chopped harley in 1995, but still do my drag racing thing, but not as active lately because of my business, and a reduction of tracks.
i also have been thru another marriage, and divorce, after 3 years, because of her drug use, and refusal to quit, and not being able to get along. ...Expand for more
thus i'm single again, and enjoying that.
i turned my life to God, with Jesus Christ as my lord and savior in 2004, but like most or all of us, i'm still a sinner, and don't deny that. i'm happier now with my life, but begining to have health issues, such as a cataract which is to be fixed april 11th 2013, and a hip replacement later in the year, or when i can't put up with the pain anymore. i'm dealing with it now thru medication, and as long as thats working i'm ok. as far as the pain, i have my good days, and some bad days, but as long as i'm alive they are all good.
