Marty's Story
Our ...(are we sitting down?) FIFTIETH reunion approaches. Wow. Life has been soooo good and fulfilling. Kinda flowed from one great occupation to another over the years. Worked on the pipeline to fund my education, ran a couple ski schools and started an adaptive outdoor skills program for special needs kids. Education wise, I started out in premed but followed my heart into an 1978 undergraduate degree in theatre, with a high school teaching certificate. erforming arts center. After 10 years of wonderful, creative times, I was convinced of the need to bring in more income. I closed the company down and (you guessed it) became an educator, high school drama and English...kinda like Mr. DeWild! Too funny, huh? I'm retired from the classroom now. Through all of this I have being skiing and all the other stuff I enjoy, and for 25 years I have operated a wilderness river guide service. I have two absolutely splendid "kids", a sweetheart of a partner and am going to be a grandfather in a little over a month!!!
