Marty Martin:  

Life 46 year old guy from Southern California. I own two local businesses. I was born in Pomona, California and moved to West Los Angeles when I was young. Moved from there to the San Fernando Valley (Sylmar) in 1965. Lived in Sylmar until 1984 then moved to Santa Clarita where I stayed until 1990. 1990 to Lancaster, Ca and returned once again to Sylmar in 1999 where I presently reside. I was a Board Director for our townhouse complex and I am active in other civic duties. Have worked in the painting industry, drywall hanging/taping and plastering for nearly 29 years as a business owner. Past few years focusing on the commercial side. Was "married" for seventeen years, but that's a whole other story....Ask me if you dare. I have a great Cat and a great roommate! Like to bowl sometimes, into skeet shooting lately, camping, and periodically playing a few games of pool. And so on and so forth. I like to surf, although get very little time now-a-days, laying around on the beach when I can is terrific. I read a lot when I can. I actually enjoy running my business. I like to travel a bit and desire to do much more. Spending time with friends and family is always great. Going to concerts, especially club shows. I enjoy driving my convertible. Music: All things rock. Mostly, old 70's stuff i.e. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Y and T (see my profile pic with rocks best drummer Mr. Leonard Haze), Rainbow, UFO, Ronnie Montrose, Sammy Hager. Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, etc. Rocks Best Drummers: Dusty Watson, Leonard Haze, Josh Freeze, and Vinnie Appice! All things Punk....dead Kennedys, TSOL, Circle Jerks, Bad Religion, Rancid, etc... Movies: WWII movies are my favorites. Crime dramas. Television: MSNBC, CNN. Kind of a news junkie. IMUS In The Morning. F... FOX NEWS. Books: All of John Grisham. All of James Patterson. All of Jonathon Kellerman. David Crosby recently. Dean Koontz. Heroes: My Dad and my Mom. Corny? I think not. I'm a lucky man.
