Marty's Story

Life I went to work immediately after graduation and have been working ever since. Same company for the last 44 years, SOUTHSIDE NISSAN. (now Retired) I married a 1970 Hamber Grad in 1975 and we have two beautiful daughters. I spend my time working, skiing, with my family and in my spare time I am the Fire Chief for the Hemlock Valley Volunte...Expand for more

(now Retired) My NOW picture was taken when we received our new Fire Engine in June of 2006 My BEFORE picture was from shortly after graduation, I had purchased a 1963 Chevy Impala after blowing up my 69 AMX in a street race I love my toys but just never get to play with them anymore. Maybe when I retire. (Retired August 2016)

I am not one for graffiti but this one was funny.
Second week with a sunset through the smoke from the fires in Manitoba and Ontario. 2018
Late second week through to the middle of August waking up to the morning "fog".
Had to leave the lake for the last time this season as snow was forecast earlier than expected. Can't wait until next spring.

Sad day today, last trip to Hemlock Valley as an owner. Really going to miss all the friends we made over the years and all the fun we had at the social functions.

Parked in 2011 when the head gaskets went, took it apart and got side tracked. Water got into #8 bore and corroded it past the boring limit.
