2008.4.2 Update
Hello Everyone
I am still living with my dad in the house that I grew up in, I've been getting killed since the 1st of the year trying to finish up a project that I've been working on for the past year. I back to working "normal" house so I've started my house hunt again. I'm currently looking only in Munster, but is hard to find a nice house that isn't a split/quad level (I hate those). Plus I need a big garage to store my truck & boat.
I have a updated picture of myself, not sure why I was dressed in a suit.

2008.11.4 Update
Life
Back to 46321
Well I guess the moving company is becoming my best friend. I am in the process of moving for the 3rd time in less than 3 years. Can you freaking believe it - I'm moving back to Munster. Yep, I've been living in downtown Chicago for a little over a year but now IÂm headed back to the 46321 zip code.
My loft goes on the just after Labor Day and IÂve started looking for a house in Munster (how hard can it be to find a house for me & my dog Murph?).
Anyway, down a paragraph or 2 is a bunch of blah blah yadda yadda about what I'Âve been doing for the last gazillion years. If you want the Cliff Notes version  read on.
1993 Â Get job with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), move to St. Charles Illinois
1995 Â Get married, but first house, have first mortgage
2000 Â Survive the whole Y2K thingie, buy 2nd house, get a bigger mortgage
2004 Â Separated from my wife. Put down payment on a loft in downtown Chicago
2005 Â Get divorced after 10 years of marriage (no kids...Expand for more
, the biggest fight in the divorce was over the dogs). Sell house in St. Charles, move in with my dad while my loft is being built.
2006 Â Turn 40 (ugh), Move into my loft (an even BIGGER mortgage)
2007 Â Bears crash & burn in MiamiÂ
. TBD
As of 8.31.2007 Â I am in the process of selling my loft in Chicago and moving to Munster.
For the past 14+ years, I have been working for Accenture as a Senior Software Engineer. Today my day to day job is mainly comprised of managing a team of developers in Mumbai India, and doing Powerpoint presentations (I went to Purdue for 5 ½ years for this?)  it is actually a lot better than that sounds.
I do not have any kids; I do have a West Highland White Terrier (westie) name Murphy. We (when I was still married) adopted Murphy from Westie Rescue  he was our 2nd Westie (my ex has Chauncey, our 1st Westie). Murph was about 14 months old when we adopted him. From the beginning, it was obvious that he was abused. Over the past 7 years, Murphy has turned into a wonderful dog (I just wish I could teach him to get me a beer from the fridge).
I lived in St. Charles Illinois for ~12 years. After my divorce in 2005, I moved back to Munster temporarily while my loft was being built in Chicago (actually it is in a 90+ year old building, they had to demolish the interior then do the construction).
When IÂm not packing my crap up in boxes and moving, I enjoy fishing, boating, rebuilding/refinishing antique oak furniture, bike riding and hanging out friends.
I go to Lake Erie every spring walleye fishing, and I go up to northern Minnesota for 2 weeks every August.
Hope everyone is doing well.
If youÂre in/around Munster, look me up (or look up my dad - he is in the same house)

Workplace
I have been with Accenture for almost 11 years now. I am a Senior Software Engineer, currently building a varity of different web applications. Overall, I really enjoy working for Accenture, it has been challenging over the past few years with the .COM bust, and the poor economy. The 2 best parts about my job are the people I work with, and my commute (about 15 minutes)
