Marty's Story
I am a graduate of the class of 1969. I hoped to pursue a love of acting and theater arts, but Uncle Sam intervened and turned my course in a different direction. I grew up in Pico Rivera and enjoyed a wonderful childhood and teen years there. I am a veteran of the US Air Force where I was trained and worked as a surgical technician for the length of my enlistment. l Center School of Nursing and received my degree. Since then, I have worked as an operating room nurse until 1993 when I obtained my license as an RN First Surgical Assistant. I have operated my own business in this capacity until The end of 2011 when I came to Porterville, Calif. to work for the hospital still as as an RNFA. I have never gotten over the desire to act and have been involved with community theater for many years.
