Maruth's Story
After several careers.....Kitchen Designer for General Electric (Louisville); Art Director for Friedman's Jewelers (Augusta, GA); Office Designer; then Department Manager at CSX Railroad (Jacksonville, FL); Then, I decided to do something different. So I taught all of that at high school tech centers. I retired from the latter in '05 and have been painting murals and doing woodcarving since. Learned the carving from my dad and have even won some awards for several pieces.
Married to Charlie Hall (Madison class of '64). We've known each...Expand for more
other probably since when we were toddlers.
Hobbies over the years: Golf (played in many tournaments and some pro-ams....I'm really not as good as that makes me sound; I just KNEW people. LOL) And I played softball for about 30 years. I also have a pilot's license (have done some aerobatics) ; and I am a certified scuba diver. I finished my bucket list when I was 65 when my niece and I went skydiving. Now I have to start a new list.
New List: I'm doing ancestry research and am now a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
