Marva's Story
Life
I was born and raised on a farm near St. Anne. I attended school there all through high school, graduated in 1972. I was very small throught school and had a hard time enlisting in the Army because I didn't weight enough. olunteered as an EMT-ID for 10 years with the Ashkum Fire Department. I have two great sons one now married ,age27, with a son now 4. Yes I'm a grandma. Youngest son just turned 21, in May.
Right now I'm currently disabled and don't work, but I do babysit for my grandson, the apple of my eyes.
I never got to far from home, I've lived in Kankakee, Manteno , then Ashkum, Gibson City and now in Rantoul.( here only 3 months).
