Marva Jones:  

I was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I went to Pa. Ave. School, N.J. Ave.School 5th & 6th grade, Chelsea Jr. High, ACHS & Tech for Medical Dental Assistant. I have lived in Trenton, N.J., for 39 yrs. I've been a Dental Assistant, P.C.C.P.,S.C.G.,for the City of Trenton,and Bus Operator. But the most rewarding is being an ordained minister of the gospel for 37 yrs. On June 13, 2010, I received my Doctoral Degree in Theology. I must say, this is a very exciting time in my life. Forty years and two days later after gradu- ating from ACHS, I'm now Dr. Marva Jones. And if that's not enough, I'm also a Gospel Radio Announcer. It gives me such joy, just knowing that I'm bringing sunshine into someone's life. For 24 years, my motto: if I can help one somebody, then my living will not be in vain. This is who I am Legendary "Lady Sunshine". For I am now the longest on air Gospel Radio Announcer in Trenton, New Jersey. I have one daughter, LaTauya Marva, who works with children who have disabilities. And I'm a proud NaNa,of a handsome grandson Elijah. Now in my spare time I really love to cook especially, for the holiday's. I love to see people eat, and really enjoy what they're eating.
