Marvilyn's Story
Cecil and I married on January 9, 1987 in Dallas, Texas. We have five children and three grandchildren. In 1992, both of us graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to teach H.S. Chemistry (Cecil) and H.S. English (Marvilyn) for two years. I then worked to put Cecil through the MBA program at U.T. ... he graduated in 1996. In 2002, we bought five acres and built our dream home, and we've been in Mebane, NC, ever since. After our last child was born in 2009, I went to law school and graduated from NCCU School of Law in 2013 with a juris doctorate. During this educational process, I discovered my love for writing and have dedicated a great deal of time to it. Due to the graphic nature of my novels, though, I write under a pen name. Regardless, it is my passion. I LOVE MY LIFE!!!
