Marvin's Story
Places I've lived since high school: In Montana Troy, Kalispell (twice), Missoula, Bozeman, Helena, Hamilton, Stevensville. Elsewhere, Rathdrum ID (current) ,Denver CO and Kennewick WA.
Careers since graduation: Geologist, Wildland Firefighter (Hotshot crew), Pharmaceutical Engineer, and Software Developer (now). Also was an Adjunct Programming Instructor (volunteer) for a not for profit online University for several years, but my real job starting requiring more of my time so I had to quit. May get into Programming (Java language) tutoring now that I'm retired,...Expand for more
but not sure I'll have time.
I've been single most of my life, but married in 2007.. She's also a software developer (now retired). And since we both full-time telecommuted it sometimes became a challenge to get away from work. But, the bonus is that I two step-children from my wife's previous marriage. And, so far, two step-grandchildren (yay!). Well, now one both grandchildren are in their teens with all the drama and lack of communication that entails!
Retired in 2019, now my wife and I are travelling and keeping busy with hobbies (I'm a big online gamer).
