Marvin's Story
Workplace
After high school, I worked at several places from the Post Office to Radio Shack to Alltel. After 6 years in the cell phone business, I decided to make a career change to law enforcement. I started with the St. Stephen Police and then moved to the Goose Creek PD in 05/2003. I am currently in the uniform patrol division assigned to team 3. My best accomplishmentis becoming a member of the Special Response Team (SRT).

ges in my career. I am now a Sergeant with Homeland Security on the Navy Base in Charleston. I supervise a small group of officers guarding the ships on the base. Its a far cry from writing tickets and arresting for CDV, but I love this job. I do miss the guys at Goose Creek PD and especially the SRT.
