Marvin's Story
Still live in Deep Creek. Lived on Outer Banks for a couple of years in 70's. Married to Betty Bennett for 46 years this October. Have 3 daughters. Oldest in Havlock, NC, middle at home and youngest in Grad School at San Francisco State U. One grandson in Havlock. Poured concrete, built custom garages, additions, decks, ect for 35 years. Bought and sold professional photo and video equipment for 35 years at camera shows up and down East Coast and Mid West. At one time doing 45 shows a year. 10 years. Woke up blind in right eye in 2005 due to stroke. Had surgery for 90% blockage in right Carotid. I do a little construction every now and then but body to wore out from crawling around concrete slabs to do much. Mostly hit thrift stores, auctions and Cash Converter stores for items to sell on eBay now. Spend rest of time at computer. I am a night owl and watch lost of old movies on TV. Usually turn in about 2:00 AM. Would love to hear from people I knew from the "Good Old Days". By the way contrary to some outer post about me on Classmates.com I have never been stopped on a DWI or DUI and never been in jail but once for 1 hour.
