Mary Ann's Story
Life
High School was neither the Âbest of times" or the "worst of times for me, but IÂm sure many other people feel the same way... One of the best things to happen to me in high school was my decision to attend classes for Data Processing and programming... who knew what I was getting into. rrance 40 years ago, a bedroom community located by the ocean with large fields creating open space in the city... However, as a friend of mine likes to say ÂThis too shall changeÂ.
I have been married for eightteen years and we have an ten-year-old daughter. Before we started our family we spent the summer river rafting at the Kern (my husband was a certified guide) and the winter skiing, especially in Mammoth. Being a working mother has been challenging but more rewarding than I could have imagined. After all these years of being a feminist, itÂs interesting that I could easily see myself as a stay at home Mom.
When I have time, I enjoy my friends and extended family, travel, dancing, books and the occasional movie. It would be fun to connect with the small circle of friends I knew from NHS and even Arlington elementary.
