Mary's Story

Married had a son and daughter divorced. Raised my children, went to college, moved to north Fl.went to college and worked.Worked for the City, met my sweety and have been happy with him for over 12 years.Have 5 grand from my daughter none from the son. Say's she supplied enough he didn't have to.Have a minnie veggy garden. Going to school online to be a malware fighter, running my older grandson to football practice. Taking care of my family and myself.I am contented with my life for now. How about you?? The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Linda (Jake) Redd(Jones), because She was a very very good friend going thru HS. I have several obsessions. My computers and being on them a lot, My dog,(Pit-Mastiff), My Cory fish, and all the animals in my yard. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the inside and add on a a room or two. My dream home would be A HECK of a lot better then the one I have, and bigger too. ;). My children never cease to amaze me with how they live their daily lives. Always changing, but mostly for the better over all. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my sweety, then spend the rest on my self and our children, certain charities and bring friends from the UK to America. My current age is 59. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be wrinkled and in a rocking chair. I was so completely right, but not me. Don't do rockers .. Disabled and retired. I'm aspirated from all my aspirations of hard work My best friend would tell you I'm out spoken & helpful, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as timid & soft spoken. I've gotten a little better in the clothing department. But still like my jeans! I share my home with Sweetie, son, dog,2 fish tanks, which I find ok for now.. No mantel trophies just my son, daughter grand children and my sweety are my trophies. Plan o...Expand for more
n keeping them too!! In 10 years, I hope to be 79 and still alive. I'm going to get there by taking care of my self. Doris was my oldest friend and her spicy but sweet attitude got my attention. We were so much a like except in age. Couldn't ask for a better best friend then her. My first job was at RCA Motorola, where I got paid good to do electronics. What I remember most about it is you worked at your pace and the boss was nice to you.. In HS there were 3 of us that went out mischief night and got the ta-doodles scared out of us, plus we got egged on top of that. I had a lot of fun. I always wanted to be a electronic person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly and for men only idea. As it turns out, they were Sooo wrong. The best way for me to stay calm & relax is to walk away and get on my computer. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have little, R, and R to be able to deal with the day-to-day. 4-17-2014 Not too much has changed except I am 4 years older my children & grand have left Fl. Soon to be a great grandmother this year. I still have my gardens(small but enough for the two of us) Have gone from a mini van to a pick up to another mini and now a comfy car. Sonata. My bones are slowly deteriorating, still have a bad knew but not bad enough for surgery. Have gotten into politics a little more than I really wanted to but I have to to try and help save this country for my family. Still believe in God always will. Met some awesome people on Facebook Met some not so good ones there as well. lol. Still work on my own computer and try to help others with theirs. I do come back here every so often and check things out. Just not that often as I have a life that I am trying to keep going in these trying times . Not easy living on a fixed income sometimes. But I am still alive and glad of that for now! What's your story??
