i remember that our graduating class was the largest Hilltop had ever had (about 600) -- they even had to split the school into Hilltop and Bonita if I remember right. That same year my Dad retired from the Navy and my family moved to the San Fernando Valley. One thing to remember about me back then, was that I was a Candy Striper at Chula Vista Hospital as a future nurse, and, I was in the Art club who silk-screened the football ribbons for Friday's games. After all that experience in a hospital, I went into education! Who can figure with destinies?? I started my college/university career at summer school at Southwestern J. C. in Chula Vista in 1963 right after graduation from Hilltop. I finished my formal education in 1997, at the University of San Francisco with my doctorate in Private School Administration specializing in The Laws Affecting Students With Special Needs in Private Schools. I had attended colleges and universities that were near my workplaces (schools) and residences over the years, namely University of San Diego, Citrus Junior College, Valley Junior College, Mount San Antonio Junior College, Mount Saint Mary's College at Chalon Campus, Mount Saint Mary's at Doheny Campus (for my B.A. and CA Teaching Credential), and finally University of San Francisco, L.A.
