ON 12/12/2012 MY HUSBAND OF 28 YEARS LOST HIS BATTLE WITH MULTI-
SYSTEM ATROPHY. It is simialar to Parkingsons, but with malabsorption. Which
basically means he straved to death. He could not absorb any thing . No matter what we fed
him his body just wasted away. Not a good way to die. At least he is not suffering anymore..
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2008, I was fired from my job soon after. I had a
boss who did not understand about illness. But he satd he knew some one with it. I have been
on disibilty ever since. Now I have to find some thing else to do with my life now that I have spent
the last two years taking care of my husband. I worked for 22 years in a factory.

1 and a half years. I have lost 42 pounds to date, I have 40 more to go. Now that I am alone. I can cook what I when I want to. I do not have to have meat & potatoes three times a day. No more excuses for being fat. Hopefully I will have reached my weight loss goal by end of year. I am starting to walk 1 to 2 miles a day. It helps that I push mow my lawn. Great way to lose those extra pounds. It helps to keep my strength up, never know when MS is going to strike again.
My son can use the riding lawn mower. I prefer the push mower, especially for the trimming.
My son tells me he and his girl Sarah are expecting a baby some time in January 2015. Am having hard time wrapping my head around that one. Too many times him telling me I am not bringing home Grand Children .JUST PUPPIES. Have had Five puppies. NOW HE WANTS KIDS ! We shall see how this works out.
