Mary's Story
After graduation in 1965, I joined the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, the same nuns who taught at St. Willy's. I earned my BA from Silver Lake College eight years later while assigned to teach in 3 Wisconsin locations: Plymouth, Potosi, and Waukesha.

rs Degree in Child Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and then being employed by the New Berlin Public Schools which is just west of Milwaukee. For a brief while, only 6 years, I was an elementary school counselor, but for the remainder of the time I was a classroom teacher. After teaching for 39 years, I retired 5 years ago.
