The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Ralph Anderson, because I treated him badly and would like to make ammends.
He was always nice to me. He asked me to the Military Ball and it was the only formal dance I ever went to. I never appreciated him and I'm really sorry for that. After my divorce he came to my parents house looking for me but I was out of the country at that time. I really regret that we never got back in tiuch with each other.
The teacher who inspired me most was Mrs. Williams. She and Mrs Bowen the science teacher got ther heads together after I passed a science test with flying colors.. Mrs Williams asked me if I had ever considered being a nurse. I told her that I had never wnated to be anyth...Expand for more
ing else. But even as I said it I knew it would be impossible. There was no way to accomplish being a nurse, or so I thought at the time... Goes to show that God knows our dreams and accomplishes his purposes in our lives.
In 1984 I became the nurse I always wanted to be. I divorced the following year. In 1988 I went to Hawaii to a school for missions training and over the years have traveled with a missions organization calle YWAM, into China, Singapore, Phillipines, Jamaica, Mexico, Belarus and India. I lived in Arkansas at the missions complex there for three years in the late 90's.
I now live in Covington Georgia and am presently semi retired. I work 2 days a week at a counseling center giving injections and doing nursing assessments.
