Hi! Since graduation I now go by Elaine (my Middle name). I left Dayton in a snowstorm in Feb, 1969 for Yuma, AZ to live with my sisters family and see the desert. I loved it! Went camping every other week-end off from my job as a unit clerk at the hospital. My boyfriend and took my niece and nephew who were my age. Then it was off to Denver, CO and I was amazed to be surrounded by snow-capped mountains even in July! Next it was Atlantic Beach, FL where I made the mistake of picking up a hitch-hiking sailor and was married 32 days later! My son, Jeff was born in Key West in '73 and Valerie was born in Norfolk (Portsmouth) in '74. We went to Wisconsin when he retired in '76 and lived in several small towns. He was an alcoholic and I was holding 2 jobs in a little village of 325 people to make ends meet. One was a bartender. We divorced in '80 and I went WILD. I ran the streets in 3 counties. I met and married my present husband, Clark in "82 and I will never forget the day he moved in with me and said he would pay me my bar salary if I would stay home and raise my kids!!!
