Mary's Story
I was Mary Crego in high school. I hung with Nina Dazey, Carleen Larson, Jane Tibbs, Lanette Maey, JoAnn Weiss. I entered the Women's Army Corps upon graduation and went to Ft Bragg, NC. I was a member of the 18th Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division. I was an E5 and clerk typist to the G4 section. I went to Viet Nam TDY and traveled extensively. ersity of Texas in Legal Administration. I worked as a paralegal to support the kids for the federal government. So I transferred around a lot in different positions and have lived in many places. I am now retired, residing in San Antonio, Texas. I am single, mother of four surviving kids and grandmother of 9. I also have one adopted daughter, 14 foster kids and 16 other small children that just call me grandma. I travel, quilt, watch old movies and just plain enjoy life.
