Life
Well, I'll try to keep it short... After graduation, I went to Richland Jr. College in Dallas for 2 years. I met a guy and almost got married, but 2 weeks before the wedding, I backed out. I just knew I wasn't ready to tie the knot. Embarrassing? Yes. But I have changed so much since that time. It would not have lasted.
After that, I decided to see what was "out there" and got a job. I worked in an architects office for a while, and then fell into the world of telecommunications where I spent the next 20+ years working. Currently, I work at a psychiatric hospit...Expand for more
al, where some days, I feel more like a patient that I do a staff member. :-D
About 9 years ago, I met a man who is now my husband. It's a long story, and one I love to tell, but I won't go into it here. :-) He has been married once before, and they had 2 children, now 19 and 13, but I never had any kids of my own, unless you count the four-legged variety. :-) They are spoiled rotten!
At this time in my life, and let's face it, we are MIDDLE-AGED, I am ready to settle down and go into semi-retirement. I want to tend garden, walk my dogs, and relax. How about you?
