Mary's Story
Life
Mary Cross Keroson-Class of 1974. I attended Delta College and received my Associates Degree and then onto Michigan State for my Bachelors Degree in education. I began my teaching career in Cass City, MI and that is where I will also end my career. I began teaching Special Education for 16 yrs., then moved to 6th grade Language/Social Studies and then to my current position in 7th grade teaching Language/Social Studies. I adopted a son in 1984, Tony. I married my husband, Rod, in 2001 and gained two high school children, Tasha and Bobbie. Sadly,my husband died in 2002. My mother moved in with me after Rod's death. s union here and will be neogiating our next contract as well as serving as a union representative for my peers. Somehow, I got roped into coaching the boys quartet ( no I can't sing...the only thing I know about music is how to spell it). In the past I have coached track and volleyball. I have two cocker spaniels and I allow two cats to occupy my home as well. I drive a Chevy pick-up with 4 wheel drive and enoy country music. Attending concerts and Tiger baseball are two are my favorite things to do. I am terrible at keeping in touch with people (just ask Cheryl Parker).
