Mary's Story
If you remember Mary Darcy--that's me.l I was very shy in high school and I believe relatively invisible. After high school I went to college in California and earned a doctorate in Psychology. I taught at the Univ of VA for 20 years. After teaching I moved to the mountains of Appalachia and worked as a child psychologist. I retired about 1 month ago and I am now doing the things I wanted to do over the years but had no time. I like writing about children for counselors. I love writing history. I enjoy hikes in the country. I want to reconnect with old friends.I love to laugh! While my story reads like I am a serious person, I am not. I am even silly with my friends and enjoy FUN.
Now, I am writing and painting.l While I love abstract paining, I now want to add realism to the colors and strokes I mastered. Kandinsky is my favo...Expand for more

I would love to put together a book of panel reviewed great paintings done by current unknown artists. Sarah, Dana, Ralph Price, and Chip Travers would be my top picks. The book could be called ARTISTS YOU DON'T KNOW BUT MUST! or SHOULD!
