Mary's Story

Life Hmmm....where to begin? After HS I headed to BYU, where I majored in Nursing. After a summer spent studying in Europe we discovered that I had a brain tumor, and I had to take some time off of school for brain surgery. Miraculously, I recovered completely and never even had to have my hair shaved off. :) I've been extremely healthy and tumor-free for 4 years now. For one year I traveled around the United States, speaking and presenting at Nursing conventions. It was awesome! I graduated from BYU in 2001 with my bachelor's de...Expand for more
gree in nursing, and began working at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Salt Lake City. Around the time I graduated I met this handsome guy at a football game, and it was love at first sight. We were married 4 months later, and now we have a little girl named Macie. She's a little princess! We have a home in Utah right now, but plan on moving in the next 2 years. My husband is the president of a private oil exploration company, so Utah isn't exactly the ideal location. But... we're stuck here for a little while because of real estate investments we've made, as well as the difficulty of relocating the company. E-mail me if you get the chance! I'd love to hear how anyone else is doing!
