Mary's Story
Life
After moving all over the country during the first 18 years of our marriage, my husband, Bob, our 3 kids and I settled near Denver, CO, where we have been for 12 years. I work for a local school district as Assistant Director of Human Resources.
My stepson and his wife presented us with twin boys in 2003. They are in first grade now, and have a baby sister born in August, 2009! I travel to the Cleveland area as often as I can to do the grandma thing!
Our youngest (21) is a senior at Arizona State University; middle son (24) is at University of Colorado, and our oldest (26), the hippie daughter (HOW did I end...Expand for more
up with a hippie daughter?) has moved back home for the third time. Can you say "Yo-Yo Child?"
Those of you who remember me from high school might remember a very shy person. You would be amazed now. As a Human Resources administrator, I conduct staff trainings for the school district, handle employee discipline, and am a management contract negotiator for our support staff. I love what I do! Human Resources is my niche...no more wallflower!
My hobby is brewing my own beer and wine. My kids call it "chemistry with purpose"! I call it FUN!
