Movies Mary likes include Ben-Hur, Ten Commandments After graduating, I married Tom Dillard and moved to Imperial Beach, Calif., for a few months, where we took a Missionary Dental Course, and, then traveled throughout California (Tom's home state) for several months before leaving for Chad, Africa via France, where we lived with a French family in the Alps, studying French, and preparing for the journey to Chad. We lived and worked in the interior areas of Chad for almost two years, before returning to the states. Tom pastored in Indiana for over forty years, leaving for Ghana, Africa, in the early 70's where we once again did mission work. This time, however, we lived in an RV that we had shipped over from the states. We had our three children, ages 4,3, and 18 months...by having an RV to live in, we could travel and l have them with us throughout the two years that we remained in Ghana and West Africa.
