Life
Somehow I thought I wrote a whole expose here about my kids, now in their early twenties, and life in general.
After being a wanna be hippie myself, it is amazing how conservative I have been with my own kids.
I still lean left politically, but avoid being new age-y.
I moved around a lot for awhile but kept ending up in SB. From the bay area to Hawaii and back again. I am comfortable here.
This has been awhile. My two sons are grown up and away. I am out dancing and playing much of the time. People are a great joy and connecting with them feeds me.
Still running my own small cat sitting business (HeatherCats Quality Cat Care - now in it's eleventh year) , starting a new part ...Expand for more
time nursing job with Hospice -well, I don't have to save lives now..., doing some massage since I got my license last year, and taking classes,, Lots of yoga, psychology, sailing class, cooking. O.K. so mom was right about all of those vegetables. Yes, I drive a Prius. Still loving S.B.
Also open to finding that conscious, loving relationship with a man who wants the same.
Meditating twice a day for balance. Breathing -And smiling....
I'm always interested in chatting with old or new friends. anyone who likes to dance - come to the Carrillo Rec center on almost any Sunday at six for Contra Dancing. Easy to learn and lots of fun and friendly people. I'll probably be there.
