Mary's Story
An exciting life....Obtained my nursing license from AEMC, then got my BSN and later my Master's in Health Care Administration. Lived in New Jersey, Florida, Hawaii, California, Maryland, Georgia and now South Carolina. Traveled around the world for 10 years as a flight nurse for the US Air Force and then several assignments in the US Army Nurse Corps.
Retired as a Colonel in 2005 from the US Army Reserve. I have 2 children, both in college at this time, one studying to be a nurse and the other a pharmacist. I am married to Chip and have 3 stepchildren. Two are married and one has just turned 13 years old last month. We have a dog and 2 cats. We enjoy a vry simple life and are in good health. Now my daughter is working as an RN and has a baby that is 1 year old. My son is working as a Pharmacist and doing well. My husband, Chip's daughter each have a child, one boy (4 y.o.) and one girl (3 y.o.) and another grand daughter due any day now. Enjoying retirement...
Fast forward to December 2017. Still enjoying retirement and good health. Moved back to Georgia in 2015 to be closer to my daughter who has 2 children now who will be 3 and 5 this month! Also recently divorced from Chip and now single again.. Working tax season as a Senior Tax Analyst. Throughout the year very busy managing multiple needs of various family members and taking care of the grandchildren. Taking short vacations when possible. Looking forward to the reunion!.
