Mary's Story
Life
I attended Marian College and graduated in 1979 with a degree in Biology. I worked at Marian for about seven months until I began working at the Blood Center. I met my husband through his sister-in-law. We were married in 1984. We have lived on the south side of town ever since. I left the blood center after 10 years and have stayed home with our 5 chi...Expand for more
ldren. As they began school, I started substitute teaching in their school. I now am a volunteer art teacher this year as our school budget was cut. This has been a new adventure for me, although I was always very interested in art, it was not an area that I was trained in. I work with Grades 1-4 two mornings a week, and substitute on the off days as needed.
