Mary is from Accokeek, Maryland. She is married to John Cieplak. Her schools include Surrattsville High School; Eugene Burroughs Jr. High; St. Mary's School, Piscataway; Accokeek Elementary School; and Brandywine Elementary School. She is a retired federal employee.
Mary's interests include antiques, traveling, scrapbooking, crafts, reading, and horseback riding. Music she likes includes the Rolling Stones, The Doobie Brothers, The Band Perry, etc. In summary, Motown, Rock 'n Roll, Country, Bluegrass, etc. Books she likes include Danielle Steele, James Patterson, and book by many various other authors. TV shows she likes include NCIS (both), all CSI's, Rizzoli & Isles, Body of Proof, Ghost Hunters, etc.

on a tobacco farm in Accokeek, MD--graduated from Surrattsville Senior High School, Clinton, MD--married John Cieplak in 1980--have only one child (daughter Vickie) born in 1984--worked for the Federal Government 33 years--last agency was Department of Veterans Affairs beginning in 1976--last position entailed management of various headquarters & national HR programs--now retired--sold family farm in 2008 to Dennison's Nursery and moved to Calvert County, MD. From 1988-2001, I carpooled my daughter and her many friends to soccer and lacrosse practice/games, cheerleading practice/events, dance and aerobic classes, singing lessons/events, the movies, roller skating, concerts, bowling, and various other activities; I performed numerous hours of volunteer work at my daughter's high school (Elizabeth Setion in Bladensburg, MD); I love and thoroughly enjoy animals (have two dogs, one cat, and three birds); I have several interests, including antiques (have a booth in an antique shop on the Eastern Shore of MD where we also own a home); and ... I am not growing old gracefully, I am kicking and fighting the entire way!!"
