Mary's Story
Life
I met my husband in 1992 through a
friend of mine and a work associate
of my husbands. I was interested in
computer programming and my
friend gave me his number and we
became friends and then we dated
and got married three years after we
met.
She is a black cat named smudge
who is a total nutball who absolutely
loves our newest edition our baby
boy. We inherited my sister-in-laws cat named
Budddy who thinks he is a dog in a cats body.
Our son he the greatest treasure we
could have ever asked for. We feel
blessed everyday that he choose us
to be his parents. Our 2 1/2 year
journey was well worth it!
We were equally blessed on June 7, 2005 when our daughter Anika was born. What a pair, never a dull moment in our household.
Our son Johan is now 6 years old and starting 1st grade, our daughter Anika just turned 2 and is enjoying school like her big brot...Expand for more
her.
I have also gotten a chance to get back to something I was always interested in as a kid, Paleontology. I have gone on 2 digs, 2006 and 07' and I will be back next year. I was able to dabble in some archeological digs since 2000 and I definately like the dinosaur digs better.
I am also designing and making jewelry, another wonderful creative outlet. It is nice to work with my hands to create something other than using my computer.
We are in the middle of a remodel on our house and I just lost the use of my kitchen, so barbeque and camp stove here we come...
College
I started the usual path and went to De Anza for 2 years and then I transferred to San Diego State and majored in Industrial Arts (graphic arts/drafting), I left San Diego State and later finished my degree at San Jose State with a BA in Industrial Technology. I still love taking classes and do so when I get a chance.
