Mary's Story
Life
I have lived in California since 1968 in the San Josr area. Married a second time to Bill, who has 3 grown children. I have two, one in Spain at the moment. Together we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren and one 16 yr old neice that lives with us and keeps us young. My passion is painting in oils and watercolor and am envolved with a coop gallery. I travel back to Illinois to see my aging parents at least once a year and keep in touch with Cary & Dick Nystrom, Deanna Stefely Schoen, and Howard Lang. College
That canned group of answers doesn't fit much of anything. I went to the U of I in Champain/ Urbana. Graduated in '66 with a BS ( bachleor of science not the other bs )major in Home Ec, Child Development, College of Agriculture. I pleged Gamma Phi Beta just like my mom and aunt and enjoyed my college life. Lots of studying and work mixed with lots of social life. First thing I think of is the campus' main quad and the buildings surrounding it. Very impressive architecture. I loved art but didn't study that and have been painting and drawing since.
