Mary Jane's Story
Well, it's 2012, and I've been living in Mississauga, Ontario since 1990. After Saugeen, I did a BA in English and linguistics at Carleton U., then a master's degree in library and information science at Western, got married in 1981, and that ended in 2005 (unfortunately). We/I have two daughters, Greer (28) and Ingrid (25). I then did an MBA at Schulich/York, remarried in January of 2012, and have been a business development consultant and project manager (oh, and Pilates teacher, of all things!) for the past six years. I spent 13 years in corporate Canada before that, working for Southam Inc. and then Abitibi-Price. I still love cycling lo...Expand for more
ng distances, reading fiction (especially murder mysteries, since my first husband left...ha ha ha...still trying to figure out how to make it look like an accident!!!), sailing, kayaking and travelling all over the world...although I haven't been to the Far East or India. Best years of my life were probably the ten years between ages 36 and 46 when I finally, finally, got to study ballet, and also took up jazz dancing. Oh, how I loved it! I took classes four nights a week, and went to drop-in studios in places like New York City and San Francisco when I travelled on business. A life-long dream realized, and better late than never, I suppose!
