Mary's Story
Graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester, MN
Married Bob Johnson after meeting him at college.
We have 3 daughters; twins who are almost 45 and our youngest who is 37.
One daughter is a teacher, one a police officer and one working at the Mayo Clinic.
Five grandchildren ranging in ages from 5 to 18.
Lived in Germany when Bob was in the Air Force.
Since then we have lived all over Minnesota because of his job with the DNR in Parks.

our daughters in State Parks and are now retired in Lake City, MN and loving it.
I worked in 17 different hospitals and while I miss nursing a lot I don't miss starting all over so many times.
We're both active in church with me singing in the choir and playing piano or keyboard and Bob ushering and helping with work on the grounds.
It's wonderful being retired and settled near all of our daughters and their families, and living in a town we absolutely love!
