Mary's Story
Boy, high school was so long ago! After graduation I attended Merced Community College and received my Associates Degree (Legal Secretary). Big mistake! It was not what I thought it would be. I was married at 19 to a military guy that I met at Castle Air Force Base. We moved to Guam for three years and then moved to Presque Isle, Maine, when my husband was transferred to Loring Air Force Base. We have three handsome boys. I was married to my boys' father for twenty years when we divorced. I changed careers and worked for many years in the healthcare field as a Medical Receptionist in a doctor's office. ut, for a year and a half when he transferred with his job to Marietta,Georgia. We stayed a short time in Georgia when we returned to Presque Isle, Maine, so he could work out of the home. That did not work out and we now travel with his job. My husband is an engineer in the power plant industry. I am fortunate that I no longer have to work. We have been to Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia. We really enjoy travelling. The longest that we have stayed in one place was three months. It is nice to see new places and meet new people. We travel with our one year old German Shepherd. I only attended Atwater High School my Junior and Senior year. I hung out with Dana Stone, Deanna Holck and Christi Haas.
