Mary's Story
For those who remember, I was the girl that had hair down to my tailbone, basically lived in the art department, and was crazy about Elton John. There were a couple of people who could appreciate that, but not most.
Shortly after school I got married (which lasted almost 17 yrs), and had 1 son, Dan.
Over the course of those years, we lived on the north and south sides of Chicago, Reston Virginia and Roswell, Ga. We were also fortunate enough to be able to take work related trips out of the country. We travelled to parts of Spain, Germany and Hong Kong. I would go back to any ...Expand for more

I moved back to Indy when we divorced and worked on the eastside for 6 yrs and then was laid off. My next job moved from downtown to Park 100, so I changed jobs after driving that commute for a while, and now work on the near south side, almost in Beech Grove.
I bought a house and moved in 3 days before 9-11, so that move will never be forgotten. I live within walking distance of Warren, so we hear the loudspeakers during football games in the distance. Someday they will put a light on Mithoffer at that school exit. Hopefully.
