Mary-Lynn's Story

Life Life is pretty great. I have 2 sons, 27& 35 and a stepson who's 40. We currently are are raising 2 grandchildren age 10 and 11 , Now I am chauffeur, and have managed to be at 2 sporting events that are scheduled on smae day/time(does that qualme as magician?). My backyard is full of Ninja courses, nerf bullets, bikes, scooters, skateboards, a trampoline and a really cool updated play house. Not to mention the 10 kids usually out there. I think they are energy vampires I really do! They have soooo much and I have less and less lol. We have a cat and a lil viking dude bunny which bring tons of entertainment and love to our lives. I reconnected with my husband after a 10 year hiatus. We were been back together for 23 years. We loved, laughed, talked and held hands up until his last breath. I enjoyed growing and maturing with that wonderful man and now have to figure out who I am without him. Life's newsest challenge. I am very lucky to have my Mom living in the house behind ours. We have our own lil compound and I love it. I find the concept of karma proves to be true, as long as you are patient. I refuse to be anything other than the person my mom raised me to be. I've been through some tough times, but haven't lost my love for m...Expand for more
aking grumpy people smile or my optimism. I spent 10 years working in the Automotive Industry. I got to work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Corporate and the Customers every day. I loved the challenges. I have been fortunate to be able to be around my grandchildren full-time. I've had the chance to get to know them in a way otherwise impossible. I get to be there to high-five, hug or hear doors slam. I am so lucky! Answers to "Classmates" questions: My Favorite Quote: Raising Teenagers is like trying to nail Jello to a tree. My Heroes are those that can manage to eventually find the good in, and chuckle at the irony of, a really bad situation instead of wallowing in despair. My kids & grandkids now have taught me patience and brought out my creativity. Oh, and most importantly, the value of LAUGHTER & LOVE! My current age is 55. My best friend would tell you I'm a nut, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as just a bit on the eccentric side. The weirdest job I ever did was measuring the back seat of cars in an auto dealership to make patterns to quote. The elderly lady watching me do this with my 6' male coworker thought we were measuring for another reason. Her expression was priceless, lol!
