Mary's Story
Life
I live in Albuquerque, NM with my husband, Cael, and our sons, John and Mark. I teach 3rd/4th grade special education.
After high school, I attended Northern Arizona University and received my BS in Education, then spent a couple of years in Washington state. In 1993, I moved to Santa Rosa, California and went to work for a company that imports African art. I met Cael there, and we were married a short time later. He continues to work for the same company. He also owns a business importing fair trade African baskets.

n 1997 and Mark was born in 1999. While the boys were young, I stayed home with them, and worked as an education consultant and curriculum developer. Once the boys got a little older I went to work with a non-profit that works with young children with special needs. I received my MA in education, and then we moved to New Mexico.
We've been here for a couple of years and love it! We travel frequently. One our favorite places to go is San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where we visit my parents.
I have a great life, and couldn't be happier!
